The history
This wonderful timber building was created by skilled craftsmen, and it looks as though it has always been here at Glomset, but in fact it received its first guests in 2007. The interiors are kept in a classic and traditional style of high quality, mixed with antiques. Here you can enjoy the feeling of being part of history when it comes to style and traditional craftmanship, and still enjoy the high comforts of modern life.

The surroundings
Storfjord Hotel is located 30 km east of the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund. There are unrestricted views of the Sunnmøre Alps and Storfjord – from your own private balcony, through large windows, or if you prefer from your table by the fireside in the restaurant. The rooms
 This exclusive hotel has just six generously proportioned bedrooms, each one decorated with a sense of craftmanship and detail for your comfort. All rooms have a spacious balcony with great views, or a private exit to the garden and the woods. The hotel have wonderful rooms to sit down, read a book, listen to music or mingle with other guest.
