At Jacu, we'll be introduced to the rich history of tea and matcha, an overview of the tools, various brewing methods, and a tea-tasting session. Matcha is a high-quality Japanese tea, and in the workshop, we’ll learn how to brew matcha using a specially crafted matcha cup made by a local ceramic artist. Tea can be much more than just a warm drink, and preparing tea with intention can bring greater presence and calm into your daily life. By focusing on the small details of the process, you can train your attention and create a deeper connection with your yoga practice, even off the mat.
