The Geirangerfjord is one of the deepest fjords in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site – sheer black walls rising hundreds of metres from the water, waterfalls tumbling from every crevice. This is a full day on the water, departing Ålesund and threading south through the fjord system until the landscape becomes almost impossible to take in all at once. A captain who knows every corner of the route, and no particular need to be anywhere else.
