62°NORD MASTER TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. DEFINITIONS
2. CONTRACTING ENTITY & JURISDICTION
All bookings are made with 62°NORD AS, a company registered in Norway. These Terms & Conditions and any agreements arising from them are governed by Norwegian law, including the provisions of the Norwegian Package Travel Act and related regulations.
3. BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS
4. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
In the highly unlikely event that 62°NORD must cancel an entire itinerary, guests will be offered a full refund of all amounts paid for the cancelled itinerary, excluding any external costs not booked through 62°NORD.
5. TRAVEL INSURANCE
62°NORD strongly recommends all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against cancellation, delays, medical emergencies, and personal loss. Insurance protects both the guest and 62°NORD in the event of unforeseen disruption.
In the unfortunate event of personal circumstances requiring cancellation within the non-refundable period, guests should submit a claim directly to their travel insurance provider for reimbursement, as 62°NORD is unable to offer refunds beyond the agreed cancellation policy.
6. LIABILITY & RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Guests participate in all activities at their own risk. 62°NORD and its suppliers are not liable for injuries, losses, damages, or delays resulting from conditions beyond our control. Guests must assess their suitability and readiness for the experience.
7. HEALTH & SAFETY
Guests must disclose relevant health conditions or mobility limitations prior to the trip. Some activities occur in remote natural environments where immediate medical access may not be available.
8. AGE & PARTICIPATION
All guests are welcome unless otherwise specified. Specific age and license requirements apply to certain activities:
62°NORD reserves the right to verify eligibility for all vehicle-related activities.
9. GUEST CONDUCT
Guests are expected to behave respectfully. 62°NORD reserves the right to remove any guest, at their own expense, if behavior is unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or negatively impacts the group. No refunds will be given in such cases.
10. FORCE MAJEURE & ITINERARY MODIFICATIONS
62°NORD may modify or cancel parts of the itinerary due to unforeseen events including weather, regulations, transport delays, or illness. Reasonable alternative experiences will be offered where possible. Refunds are not issued for changes due to force majeure.
11. INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS
Only services explicitly listed in the confirmed itinerary are included. Exclusions typically cover: international flights, insurance, alcoholic beverages (unless noted), meals not listed, personal purchases, and gratuities.
12. ITINERARY CHANGES & GUEST SUBSTITUTIONS
Name changes may be requested up to 30 days before departure, subject to a NOK 1,500 administrative fee. Itinerary changes after booking are not guaranteed and may incur additional costs or be treated as cancellations.
13. MEDIA & IMAGE USE
Unless otherwise requested in writing prior to departure, guests consent to the non-commercial use of their likeness in photos or videos captured during the experience for 62°NORD's promotional purposes.
14. DATA PROTECTION & GDPR
62°NORD complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Guest data is collected solely for trip administration and is not sold or shared outside necessary service providers. Guests may request access, correction, or deletion of their data at any time.
15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Norwegian law, including the applicable provisions of the Norwegian Package Travel Act.
In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, the matter will be handled according to the legal framework governing package travel in Norway. 62°NORD is committed to seeking constructive, fair, and timely resolution in all cases.
