The journey
Where the road is the destination
The roads of Sunnmøre were made to be driven. The Atlantic Ocean Road leaps across open sea on bridges that seem to defy logic. Trollstigen folds eighteen times into the mountainside before opening onto a viewpoint that stops you in your tracks. The Norangsdal valley carries you deeper into a landscape that feels untouched. And the Geirangerfjord – UNESCO-listed, best understood slowly, from the water – reminds you why you came. Behind the wheel of a Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo, in near silence, all of it lands differently.

The Atlantic Ocean Road

It's obvious this is an adventurer's paradise — an ultimate blend of challenge and luxury, set in an entirely new and clearly dramatic landscape.

Norangsdalen – Norway's most narrow valley accessible by car.

Six days across Sunnmøre
Itinerary
An outline of what awaits – each day shaped around the landscapes, the roads, and the moments that make this journey what it is.

Sunday — Arrival
Land in Ålesund with the fjords already visible from your window. Your driver transfers you to Storfjord Hotel, where a welcome cocktail in the Explorer's Library sets the tone for the days ahead.

Monday — The Atlantic Ocean Road
Head north along one of the world's most dramatic coastal drives — bridges leaping across open sea, waves crashing below. A stop at a beloved roadside café before returning south through the Sunnmøre Alps.

Tuesday — Into the Mountains
You take the wheel through 18 switchback corners up Trollstigen to one of Norway's great vantage points. Descend through the Valdal valley, catch the ferry at Stranda, and arrive at Union Øye — a historic royal retreat at the end of the valley.

Wednesday — The Fjords from Every Angle
A slow ferry passage through UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord, waterfalls on either side. Up to Dalsnibba for panoramic views, lunch at Loen Skylift, and through the Norangsdal valley. In the afternoon, take to the skies by helicopter for a final, unforgettable perspective over the fjords.

Thursday — Valley, Fjord and a Fine Table
A morning at your own pace – kayak, hike or e-bike through the Øye valley. In the evening, a private fjord cruise to Ålesund and dinner at Apotekergata 5.

Friday — Departure
A slow morning at Storfjord. Sauna, spa, a last coffee on the terrace. Your driver transfers you to the airport as the peaks recede behind you.
