Wildlife Sea Safari

Daily departures 17. june - 31. August

With puffins, seals, whales, and more wonderfully strange ocean wildlife than your imagination can muster, the outer islands of Sunnmøre provide some of the most uniquely wild ocean experiences of our Nordic Seas.

Near Ålesund, amongst the string of islands that spreads outwards towards the ocean, there is a wealth of outstanding ocean wildlife and natural landscapes to discover and explore. And because we well know the Nordic Sea and its wild whims, we have equipped ourselves to be fully prepared for the ever-changing moods and furies of our natural Norwegian weather. So join us where wild things wander and we’ll take you on an unforgettable journey of discovery of the remote Norwegian outer islands with all the varied and unique ocean species that call it home.

Sail over the ocean to the outward outposts of Nordic nature and get up close to our unique local wildlife in a non-intrusive, but naturally immersive manner. Our Wildlife Sea Safari will make you feel like you’re in the middle of your own National Geographic wildlife TV series. Gaze out on seal colonies, the occasional whale, pods of dolphins and a wide and wonderful variety of Atlantic puffins, Black-legged kittiwakes, Common guillemots, Fulmars, Razorbills, and Northern gannets to name just a few of the bird species on view. All on a secluded nature reserve that doubles as a nesting ground and repository for endangered species.
