E-bike and hike to Sukkertoppen

Let´s ride to one of Ålesund's most beautiful hikes.

Named after a sugarcoated mountain-shaped candy, Sukkertoppen is known as a short hike with rewarding views. The hike is about 2 km in easy terrain climbing from 50 meters to 315 meters. From the cairn at the top, there is a panoramic view of the Sunnmør Alps, the fjord, the open sea, and the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund. The perfect spot to enjoy a moment of peace. The ride from town to Sukkertoppen is idyllic through the town's charming streets, and over the bridge to Hessa island before reaching the foot of the mountain.
