GENERAL CONDITIONS - TAILOR-MADE ITINERARIES
Cancellation of confirmed tailor-made packages (up to 5 rooms and/or up to 9 persons) - must be made no later than 4 weeks before the agreed arrival date. If a confirmed tailor-made package is canceled less than 4 weeks before the arrival, 100% of the agreed price of the package will be charged.
To finalize a booking, a deposit of 30% of the total amount will be invoiced upon confirmation. This deposit is refundable until 4 weeks prior to arrival.
For all itineraries made by the 62Nord team, consisting of 2 activities or more, we will charge a management fee for managing the booking. The amount of the fee depends on the complexity of the booking. The management fee will be invoiced upon confirmation and is not refundable.
HOTEL ROOMS
Cancellation of a confirmed hotel room must be made at least 30 days before arrival. If the hotel room is canceled less than 30 days before arrival, the room will be charged in full.
PRICES AND PAYMENT
All tailor-made itineraries done by 62NORD Hotels & Adventures will be invoiced in NOK.
We reserve the right to change prices due to increased costs of goods, services, taxes, and fees or other costs that are controlled by external parties.
DAMAGE
The guests are financially responsible for any damage caused to hotel rooms, fixtures, or other equipment.
FORCE MAJEURE
If circumstances should occur, that are beyond our control - such as strikes, fires, extreme weather, and other events that cause your stay or activity not to be carried out, we reserve the right to cancel your stay or activity without being responsible for payment of compensation. In general, bad weather is considered normal and does not give the customer the right to cancel or change any booking.
INSURANCE
We advise all guests to take out cancellation insurance with an insurance company, to cover themselves for any cancellation. In addition, it is recommended that all guests have valid travel insurance. It is a condition of booking that you have the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover yourself as well as any dependents/traveling companions for the duration of your trip.
BOAT TRIPS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES WITHOUT ACCOMMODATION
Safety for our guests and crew will always have a top priority in all our operations. 62°NORD reserves the right to change or cancel trips due to unforeseen issues with equipment or crew – as well as bad weather. If the weather conditions dictate that the originally planned route is not safe, 62°NORD reserves the right to cancel the trip on the advice of the boat operator. Alternatively, the boat operator can change the route to ensure that the participants have an enjoyable and safe experience. Changes to the route due to weather conditions are no grounds for a refund or price reduction.
CONDITIONS FOR CANCELLATIONS
Boat trips and other activities without accommodation can be canceled without charge 14 days before departure. If the activity is canceled less than 14 days before departure, 100% of the total amount of the activity will be charged.
All bookings, changes, and cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Late arrival may result in a shorter tour or missing the tour altogether. The tour must still be paid in full and no refunds will be given.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Participants must always abide by the instructions given by the boat operator; the operator has authority on the boat that he/she leads. The operator has the authority to deny any person’s participation from the tour if they consider there to be a safety risk – this can be related to health, physical condition, being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if they act in a way which is a nuisance to other participants.
Use of, and bringing, personal equipment/items on boat trips, such as cameras, mobile phones, bags, jewelry, glasses, etc. is at the participant’s own risk.
SCHEDULED WILDLIFE SEA SAFARI & DEEP SEA RAFTING
Scheduled tours can be altered and canceled until 7 days before departure without payment. For changes or cancellations later than 7 days before departure, there will be no refund. This also applies if the booking has been made later than 7 days before the departure date.
LEGAL MATTERS
In case of any disagreement between parties that cannot be resolved without the use of court proceedings, the jurisdiction is a court in Norway and its decision will be final.
